Before you scoop
How much do I give?
For occasional digestive upset: ⅛ tsp per 10 lbs of body weight, stirred into a thin, pourable slurry about the texture of heavy cream. Check with your vet first.
Can I give it every day?
No. It's for occasional use, not daily. Keep it in the cabinet for the off days.
What about my pet's medication?
Give it 2 hours apart from medications and meals. If your pet takes anything regularly, ask your vet before you start.
How long does a bag last?
A 13 oz bag lasts about 3 to 5 months for one small-to-medium pet, across coat, paw, and occasional digestive care.

Clay is simple. Dosing still matters. Here's the whole chart, straight from our label directions.
Topical mix: Mix 1 part clay to 3 parts water until smooth. Let stand 2–3 minutes to thicken, then apply a light coat. Adjust with more clay or water to your preference. Use non-metal utensils.

When to skip the clay and call your vet
If an upset doesn't pass, keeps coming back, or your pet just seems off, that's a vet visit, not a second scoop. And if your pet takes any medication, ask your vet before you start.

Questions pet parents ask.
Plain answers. If yours isn't here, ask your vet, then ask us.
Is bentonite clay safe for my dog or cat?
Animin is 100% calcium bentonite clay, feed grade, and independently third-party mineral analyzed. Every pet is different, so check with your veterinarian before use, especially if your pet takes medication or has a health condition.
Can I give it every day?
No. The digestive directions are for occasional use, not daily: ⅛ tsp per 10 lbs of body weight, 2 hours apart from medications and meals.
Is it for cats too?
Yes. Animin is made for dogs and cats. The digestive amount scales with body weight, so a cat's amount is small. Check with your vet first.
How do I use it on paws and coat?
Mix 1 part clay to 3 parts water until smooth. For paws, leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse and dry thoroughly. For coat and skin, apply, then rinse thoroughly. Use non-metal utensils.
What if the upset doesn't settle?
Call your vet. Clay is for the occasional off day, not a substitute for care. If an upset lasts, keeps coming back, or your pet seems unwell, that's a vet visit.
How long does a bag last?
13 oz: about 3 to 5 months for one small-to-medium pet across coat, paw, and occasional digestive care.
